Greetings!

Thank you for your interest in our programs and welcome to our new online advising session opportunity. We will be using the Blackboard Horizon Wimba Virtual Classroom for our sessions.

The following information will assist you in preparing to participate in an online advising session. In addition to being able to participate from your own convenient location, you can go back and review the information via the archived classroom.

Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7, Mac OSX 10.4+
256 MB RAM
IE 7.0+, Safari 3.0+, Firefox 3.0+ (Browser must be Java and JavaScript enabled)
Internet access at 56k or above

Getting Ready

Run the Wimba Classroom Setup Wizard two to three days prior to the session to make sure your computer will support the session.

If you are interested in attending an online advising session, please send an email here. This request must be made 2 days prior to a session. A day or two prior to the session you will be sent a Guest Access link to attend.

Read through the Wimba Classroom Getting Ready Guide. This document will assist you in preparing for the session and contains contact information if you need support.
