How to Apply to our
Teacher Credential Programs
This is a dual application process
Fall 2012 credential application filing period: November 1, 2011 - March 8, 2012.
Please note that applications for Fall 2012 will not be accepted for Art, Business or Foreign Language subject matter applicants.
Starting Fall 2012, the School of Teacher Education will be using an on-line application system to collect departmental applications for the credential program. This online departmental application is now available.
University Application: October 1, 2011 - March 30, 2012 (credential application extension). Please view this short tutorial on how to apply online to the university using the CSU Mentor web site. You can apply here via CSU Mentor.
Scholarship: California Retired Teachers Association $1500.00 opportunity for Fall 2012!

Attend a group advisory session (listed below). These sessions cover all aspects of the application process. We strongly suggest that you attend a session to assure that you will be in compliance with all necessary requirements to be admitted to the program. Reservations are not required.

Why on-line advising?

The live online sessions are a perfect way for you to listen to current and updated information about the program and the admissions requirements without having to come to campus! You will be able to ask questions during the session and get answers 'real-time' and go back and view the archive if needed!

Apply to University by the deadline (if you are not already a postbaccalaureate student.) If you have questions regarding the graduate admission process, visit the Graduate Admissions website.

- 2.75 in your last 60 semester/90 quarter units or the department's
- Overall GPA of 2.67 (all college coursework)
