Priority will be given to applications submitted by February 1, 2012. All applications must be submitted both through the College of Education to the Department specified and to CSU Mentor. Applications close March 30, 2012.

Programs That Make a Difference
The Department of Special Education offers Level I and II credentials, master's, and doctorates. You first step will be to choose from one of five emphasis areas:
- Early Childhood (birth through age five)
- Mild/ Moderate
- Moderate/Severe
- Autism
- Behavior Analysis
Admissions Requirements
Applicants must meet general university requirements for graduate admission including a bachelor's degree and 3.00 grade point average (GPA). In addition, applicants must submit a formal department application including a statement of professional goals and experience, resume, letters of recommendation, transcripts, and test results.
Applicants must submit passing scores for the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST), the CSET, and the RICA, and have interest in working with special populations. Find out more...
