The experience of being biracial, I think, more than anything else. To me, it has made me see the world as people and not as merely races, I have gotten the advantage of experiencing 2 cultures.


..... My entire 4th grade year I had a teacher who like few of her students. Often, she would belittle the kids in my class in front of the other children. Once, my mother let me have a day off and when I came back, the teacher asked me about my "vacation' in front of the whole class. The whole year I dreaded going to school because I knew my teacher did not like me.

If I ever don't like a child, I will try very hard no to show it. It's a shame to see children who hate school because of things like this.
