BACKGROUND

Born in:
Kansas City, MO
Parents born in:
USA

From age 12 to my late teens I had a prejudice against California Ballet Dancers. This prejudice began after attending a very unfriendly ballet studio in San Diego. A friend and fellow dancer invited me to attend another ballet studio. She assured me that this studio was nothing like the one hat I had previously attended.

I attended a class at the studio. Everyone was nice and friendly. The teacher make me feel welcome. Class was fun and it made me realize that not al ballerinas in California had cold, unfriendly personalities. I wish I had attended this studio first. I remember it clearly because it reminded me of the classes that I had enjoyed so much back in Kansas City. The teacher was warm and friendly. She made me learn experience enjoyable. Everyone in class mirrored the personality of the teacher and that made the overall atmosphere light and joyful. A GREAT PLACE TO LEARN.
