PREJUDICE-ENFORCING EXPERIENCE
Christine

BACKGROUND
Sex: female
Ethnicity: Caucasian
Born in: San Diego, CA
Parents born in: U.S.A.

I remember a time when my sister and I were at recess. She was in the 2nd grade and I was in the 4th grade. My sister decided to lay down on the blacktop and go to sleep. The playground mother found her and nudged her to try to wake her up. Well, she didn't wake up. The playground mother thought she had hit her head and so she notified the principal. The principal called 911 and my mother. When my mother got there, the EMT's had my sister on the gurney still sleeping. My mother jiggled her a little and called her name. My sister woke up saying, what's going on?" My family was quite embarrassed by the experience.
