..... I was in 11th grade at my English class. I remember that in my English class were going to make an oral presentation. I felt unwanted and alone because my group did not want me in the group because I couldn't speak English very well. They would not even consider me until I told the teacher what was going on. She spoke to my group partners. Also, she gave me the choice to stay there with the same group or to get in another one with a friend. I choose another group but today, when I think about it, I regret it because I could teach them a lesson. Not being a good English speaker did not mean I was irresponsible or incompetent.

I suggest to teachers to be always aware of non-English speakers. To not treat kids less than others because every child, whether English speaking or not, has his/her own talent. We, as teachers, should always try to persuade children to do better and better on their own capacities and talents.
