School Psychology Tool Kit
This Tool Kit includes a wide variety of tools that are used in courses across the program and by our alumni (and some other practitioners) to facilitate their work in the schools.
Case Management Tools: Phone contact record, case summary-supervision record, hypotheses development/tracking form, record of variables that affect learning and school performance; bilingual referral checklist.
Ecological Assessment Tools: Forms to organize data from school records; forms for interviewing teachers, parents, and students; observation systems and forms; academic-behavior survey forms; language development and use surveys for English Learners.
Authentic Academic Assessment Tools: Direct assessment and interview tools to obtain information about a student’s skills in reading, writing, and spelling.
Clinical Assessment Tools: Forms to evaluate the student’s engagement in evaluation or intervention sessions, student interviews, sentence completion, developmental history interview.
Functional Behavioral Assessment: Manuals, tools, and reports for functional behavior assessment and development of Behavior Support Plans.
Tools for Standardized Testing: Test descriptions, graphs for displaying test results, pattern analyses worksheets, forms for determining proficiency with tests.
Intervention Plans: Various formats and guidelines for developing intervention plans.
