College Advisors
Compact
College Advisors from SDSU work with Compact students to
maintain eligibility for Compact and address A-G requirements,
GPA and areas of need. They can answer general questions about
college life, admissions and financial aid. You’ll receive a
call slip during one of your classes to come meet with your
school’s advisor. When you meet with them, you will fill out at
form so they can get to know you.

College:
Making It Happen
College: Making It
Happen is a program designed to communicate to families and
school educators the importance of early academic and financial
planning in order for middle school children to have choices
after high school graduation.
Originally designed
for families and school educators of sixth to ninth grade
students, the materials and presentations are applicable to
parents of students in other grades as well.
Each middle school
hosts a College: Making It Happen Night during the spring to
which parents and students are invited to learn about early
planning for college as well as an introduction to the Compact
for Success. Local colleges staff tables at the event to
promote their institution and answer questions. Some schools
even feed parents and students that choose to attend! Ask your
school for more information.
