Forum on High School Reform

February 7 - 9, 2008

Dr. Stephen Weber, President, San Diego State University was a keynote speaker for the Forum on High School Reform on February 8, 2008 in San Diego, California.  Dr. Weber discussed the Compact for Success program at San Diego State University. In order to succeed in today's challenging professional and academic environment students need better preparation for college, marketable skills for quality employment, and an environment that supports this achievement. The Compact for Success and the partnership it inspired between the Sweetwater Union High School District and San Diego State University provide a model for this blueprint in action.

The Forum on High School reform is a forum where professionals can learn more about the latest innovative organizational and instructional strategies for high school reform, especially Smaller Learning Communities (SLCs).
