CHANCERY SOFTWARE SUPPORTING SWEETWATER STUDENTS
Chula Vista, CA – Chancery Software (www.chancery.com), a leading provider of Student Information Systems for the K-12 education market, affirmed their commitment to student achievement by presenting a generous charitable donation of $12,500.00 to the Sweetwater Education Foundation.
The Sweetwater Education Foundation (SEF), founded in February 2003 by leading San Diego County educators and concerned citizens, is helping raise monies to support Sweetwater Union High School District students who complete the Compact for Success and attend San Diego State University. Monies raised help address student financial educational challenges.
Paul Kellenberger, CEO of Chancery, firmly believes his company’s charitable donation will truly make a difference in the lives of many students. “What the Sweetwater School District is doing, via the Compact for Success, in preparing Sweetwater students for the academic rigors of college, is simply outstanding. Add the Foundation’s efforts to the academic program and you get a solid recipe for student achievement. We’re more than happy to be part of this joint effort,” said Kellenberger.
“We are absolutely thrilled to have received this donation. Chancery’s gift is an indication of their commitment to Sweetwater students and it will certainly help the SEF’s efforts as we work towards ensuring that our student’s financial educational needs are met,” said Eduardo Valerio, President of the SEF.
“I cannot think of a more important investment in our community, said Dr. Edward Brand, Superintendent of the Sweetwater Union High School District. “I want to personally thank Chancery for helping us make the American dream of a college education a reality for Sweetwater students.”
