Provost's Award Presented to Shay Moin & CFD Undergraduate, Bobbi Cannon
The Department of Child and Family Development congratulates two winners of the Provost's Award at this year's Student Research Symposium (SRS 2011). Dr. Shulamit Ritblatt, CFD Faculty Chair, joins the Early Childhood Educator Steering Committee
Dr. Shulamit Ritblatt, Chair of the Department of Child and Family Development, was asked to participate on an advisory steering committee called the Early Childhood Educator Competencies Integrated Project (CIP). The CIP Steering Committee is comprised of six California State University faculty and six California Community College faculty from 125 campuses.

SDSU's Rehab Counseling Program Ranks in Top 10
The rankings for rehabilitation counseling education programs in the United States was just published by US News & World Report. The SDSU Rehabilitation Counseling Program ranked number 9, and the only programs ranked higher offered doctoral programs in addition to the Masters degree.
Congratulations to the faculty, staff, students, alums, and community partners in the SDSU College of Education Rehabilitation Counseling program. Well done!
This recognition continues a consistent "top ten" ranking over the past decade!!
