If your district does not offer a BTSA Induction program, let us help you clear your credential. SDSU has options to help you CLEAR your credential.

Fall 2012 Application period: December 15, 2011, to July 31, 2012 (with priority given to applications received by July 15, 2012). Applications will be accepted until July 31, 2012, and reviewed in July and August with status letters sent in mid-August.
The SDSU Clear Credential Program will offer teachers with preliminary credentials who do not have access to a district induction/BTSA program the opportunity to obtain a professional clear credential. Some of the Clear Credential Program coursework may be applied to advanced degree programs offered by the College of Education.
Remember, some of your coursework can also apply to a masters degree.

Prerequisites:
- A valid SB 2042 Preliminary Multiple or Single Subject Credential, or the equivalent.
- Verification by the employing school district or private school employer that an induction program is not available to the applicant (CL-855 form).
- Clear Credential Program coursework cannot be taken prior to issuance of the preliminary credential.

- TE 602B Formative Assessment (3 units)
- EDTEC 570 Advanced Teaching with Technologies (3 units)
- PLC 651 Curriculum, Teaching, and Assessment: ELD and SDAIE (3 units)
- SPED 600 Advanced Classroom Adaptations for Special Populations (2 units)
