Programs and Courses

In the Department of Special Education we offer two degrees, six credentials, and three certificate programs. Often these can be combined for your convenience. For example, you may elect to complete your level II credential in the area of moderate/severe disabilities and, at the same time, complete your Master's Degree in Special Education. The choice is yours.

Most coursework involves the integration of modern teaching and learning technologies. Many incorporate aspects of distance learning.

In most programs you will be required to complete a number of prerequisite courses and a series of state tests.
