 Introduction

In this course, we will study key phenomena, effects, models, and theories of   cognitive psychology that will help us examine instructional design principles. POPs have a central role in the instructional design process since they can guide the development of more effective learning environments.

This module will help you develop a better understanding of the terminology used in the course. We will also present an example of applied theory and we will encourage you to start reviewing websites to identify practitioners' applications of educational, learning, and psychology theories.
